About Hitch N Ride

Hitch N Ride

Why I Created Hitch N Ride

I built Hitch-N-Ride because I’ve lived the challenge firsthand — trying to find a reliable hauler when animals need to move and the clock doesn’t slow down.

A show steer coming home from auction.

A horse headed to an AQHA competition.

Project animals arriving at their new 4-H or FFA homes.

In moments like these, timing matters. Care matters. Trust matters.

Finding the right transporter hasn’t always been simple — and it should be.

Hitch-N-Ride was created to bring peace of mind to livestock owners and opportunity to independent haulers. It’s a place where good people can connect, communicate clearly, and coordinate livestock transport responsibly.

The platform is built around the values I grew up with — honesty, hard work, and respect for both people and animals.

Our Purpose

Hitch-N-Ride exists to make livestock transport more organized, dependable, and livestock-focused.

We connect livestock owners, breeders, exhibitors, and families with experienced independent transporters across the United States — from short hauls between neighboring ranches to long runs coast to coast.

Animal welfare stays at the center of every connection.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:

To link livestock owners who need dependable hauling with experienced transporters who know the road and respect the load.

From show prospects to breeding stock to your best friend, Hitch-N-Ride helps move animals safely and thoughtfully — because how they get there matters.

Every mile matters to the animals, the haulers, and the families waiting at the gate.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Building a trusted network rooted in professionalism and care
  • Supporting independent livestock transporters
  • Serving 4-H and FFA families
  • Strengthening rural connections
  • Promoting responsible livestock handling

Hitch-N-Ride is not about freight.

It’s about animals, agriculture, and the people who care for both.

Our Goals

  • Build a Trusted Network. Create a verified community of livestock haulers and animal owners built on honesty, safety, and professionalism.
  • Keep It Simple. Offer a user-friendly livestock transport marketplace that makes scheduling, quoting, and communication smooth and efficient.
  • Put Livestock First. Promote high standards of animal welfare and livestock handling on every haul — from breeder to buyer to show barn.
  • Support Independent Haulers. Give small and independent livestock transport businesses the visibility and tools they need to grow.
  • Back the Next Generation. Support 4-H and FFA families by helping them source and receive project animals safely and dependably.
  • Strengthen Rural Connections. Empower the ranches and livestock families that keep the countryside moving — one ride at a time.

Community & Partnerships

We proudly support the people and organizations that keep the livestock industry moving.

From local breeders and livestock sales to national showcases like the National Western Stock Show and Arizona Nationals, we understand the dedication it takes to move animals safely from one gate to another.

We serve exhibitors and ranch families who participate in associations such as the American Quarter Horse Association and American Angus Association, united by a shared commitment to animal care, community, and the spirit of rural America.
